Canonsburg motorcycle shop honours officer killed in duty
A motorcycle shop in Canonsburg had honoured a slain police officer killed in the line of duty last November.
The Canonsburg Fourth of July parade was made in dedication to the police officer Scott Bashioum that was killed in the line of duty last November and a motorcycle was donated in order to honour his memory.
The bike was said to be customized at Barnes Brothers Motorcycles & Off-Road in Canonsburg and they reconfigured a Suzuki 650.
“It’s an adventure style, which makes it very maneuverable and very cost-efficient, and be ridden around basically anywhere,” said shop owner Blake Barnes.
It was last year that thieves broke in and stole two racing bikes. The alarm went off and the police responded immediately. The family watched security camera footage at home.
