CFMOTO has reached an agreement with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and Dorna WSBK Organization (DWO) to make its 675SR-R the official motorcycle for the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR) from the 2027 season.
The appointment marks a milestone for the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, making it the first Chinese brand to supply motorcycles for an FIM world championship-level one-make racing series.
Established in 2024, WorldWCR is the first world-level circuit racing championship dedicated exclusively to female riders. Organised by the FIM and Dorna, the series gives competitors an equal technical platform, with all riders using identical motorcycles to place greater emphasis on riding ability and race performance. WorldWCR operates under the WorldSBK championship umbrella alongside the Sportbike, Supersport and Superbike categories.
CFMOTO 675SR-R Brings Three-Cylinder Power to WorldWCR
The production CFMOTO 675SR-R is powered by an in-house-developed 675cc liquid-cooled, three-cylinder engine producing 70kW (95hp) at 11,000rpm and 70Nm of torque at 8,250rpm.
The model has also gained racing experience in the British Superbike Championship (BSB), where it competed over two seasons. During its debut season, the 675SR-R secured a podium finish, becoming the first Chinese-built production motorcycle to achieve the feat in the championship.
Its development has also benefited from CFMOTO’s partnership with the Aspar team, which competes in the Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships.
Aspar riders and technical personnel were involved in testing and tuning the 675SR-R during its development, helping refine the motorcycle’s performance on the track.
The experience gained through these racing programmes is expected to provide a foundation for the model’s role in WorldWCR, where consistency and performance will be important across the championship calendar.

A New Milestone for Chinese Motorcycle Racing
CFMOTO’s appointment comes as China’s large-capacity motorcycle market continues to expand. According to figures cited by the manufacturer, production and sales of leisure motorcycles above 250cc in China reached 953,700 units in 2025, representing a 25.87% increase year-on-year.
CFMOTO has also been building its international racing presence through its participation in the Moto3 and Moto2 world championships. The company’s appointment as the official WorldWCR motorcycle supplier adds another step to its involvement in international circuit racing.
For the 2027 season, CFMOTO says it will provide technical support for the championship, including race motorcycle preparation, spare parts supply and an on-site technical team.
The 675SR-R will make its debut as the official WorldWCR motorcycle in 2027, giving the model a larger role in international competition while supporting a championship dedicated to developing female racing talent.
The appointment also highlights the growing presence of Chinese motorcycle manufacturers in global motorsports, with CFMOTO set to supply the machinery for one of the key championships under the WorldSBK umbrella.
