WMOTO has officially launched their latest scooter, the Griffin 205 which was introduced at the Malaysia Bike Show 2026 back on the 29th of May. The official launch of this scooter was held in conjunction with the opening ceremony of Mforce Smartshop Kedai Motor Yoon Loi in Pusing, Perak.

WMOTO Griffin 205

Marketed as an urban touring scooter, the Griffin 250 is designed to meet the needs of Malaysian riders for daily use or leisure riding with a very modern crossover design.

The scooter uses a 198cc single-cylinder engine that comes with liquid cooling. This engine produces 14.5 hp at 8,250 rpm and 17.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, and its power is channeled to the rear wheels via a CVT automatic transmission and an automatic clutch system.

The Griffin 250 uses 14-inch wheels at the front and rear, and is matched with 100/80 tires up front and 120/70 tires in the rear. The suspension used is a telescopic front fork and a twin rear shock absorber setup.

Braking performance comes from disc brakes at the front and rear, and is supported by a dual-channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). The safety value of this scooter is further enhanced by the Traction Control System (TCS) which can be deactivated.
