In a significant push for Malaysian motorsports, AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad has come on board as the title sponsor for emerging talent Hakim Danish Ramli’s Moto3 wildcard debut at the upcoming PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia 2025.
Set to take place from October 24 to 26 at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), the Terengganu-born rider will race under the AEON Credit SIC Racing MSI Team, marking his home debut on the world stage, a proud milestone in Malaysia’s ongoing efforts to develop and showcase local racing talent internationally.
The official team reveal ceremony held at SIC was graced by YB Hannah Yeoh, Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia, along with representatives from AEON Credit, SIC, and ZK Racing Sdn. Bhd. The event also saw the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AEON Credit and ZK Racing, establishing a strategic partnership under the Malaysian Motorsports Development (MDEV) Blueprint, a government-backed initiative to nurture two-wheel racing talent, jointly led by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) and SIC.

This announcement builds on AEON Credit’s ongoing partnership with SIC, which began when the company was appointed as the Official Circuit Partner, reinforcing its commitment to advancing Malaysia’s motorsports ecosystem.
YB Hannah Yeoh commended the collaboration, stating, “Hakim Danish’s wildcard represents Malaysia’s belief in what’s possible when the Government, private sector, and motorsports community unite. AEON Credit’s support shows how corporate partnerships can help our youth chase big dreams and bring pride to the nation.”
As part of the national initiative, KBS has allocated RM3 million for the 2025 High-Performance MDEV Programme and an additional RM1 million via the Kumpulan Wang Amanah Sukan Negara (KWASN) to support Hakim’s participation in the FIM JuniorGP World Championship 2025. Complementing these efforts, AEON Credit has contributed RM1 million toward Hakim’s Moto3 wildcard debut, marking its first major investment in motorsports and underlining its dedication to youth empowerment, community development, and national talent growth.

AEON Credit Chairman Ng Eng Kiat highlighted the company’s motivation behind the partnership: “This collaboration goes beyond sponsorship, it’s about belief, opportunity, and national pride. Motorsports embody the same perseverance and passion that define AEON Credit. Together with SIC and ZK Racing, we aim to inspire young Malaysians and cultivate the next generation of champions.”
SIC CEO Azhan Shafriman Hanif expressed pride in Hakim’s progress, saying, “Hakim is the first product of our development programme. We’ve watched him grow from his days in the SIC MiniGP Championship at just 12 years old to now competing on the MotoGP grid. His wildcard debut is proof that our ladder system works and it’s a proud moment for every partner and mechanic who believed in this journey.”
Fans can witness Hakim Danish’s world-stage debut with the AEON Credit SIC Racing MSI Team at Sepang and show their support live. In support of the Malaysia MADANI agenda, SIC continues its Ticket Rahmah initiative, offering K2 Hillstand tickets at RM49.90, available now at www.sepangcircuit.com
