Indian Motorcycle Malaysia, under the distribution of Spirit Lake Motor Sdn. Bhd. and AFY Mobility Industries (AMI), has officially launched the 2025 Indian Scout lineup at the Bumirai Showroom in Petaling Jaya. The move marks the brand’s strengthened commitment to the Malaysian market, following its reintroduction earlier in June.

The all-new 2025 Indian Scout model range is now available nationwide, with prices starting from RM103,900. Leading the lineup is the Scout Bobber, offered in three variants: the Standard in Black Metallic at RM103,900, and two Limited colours: Sunset Red Smoke (RM121,100) and Spirit Blue Metallic (RM124,300) both equipped with the Tech package.

The Sport Scout comes next, priced at RM106,800 for the Standard Black Metallic, while Storm Blue and Nara Bronze Metallic Limited + Tech variants are listed at RM113,500 and RM117,300 respectively. Also on offer is the Scout Classic, exclusively available in Sunset Red Metallic with Limited + Tech package at RM128,800, alongside the Super Scout, priced at RM134,500 in Black Smoke with graphics.

Topping the prestige range is the 101 Scout, available in Sunset Red Metallic with graphics or Ghost White Metallic with graphics. Both are equipped with the Limited + Tech package and priced at RM139,600.

Five Distinct Personalities for Every Rider

Indian Motorcycle has defined five unique characters for the 2025 Scout range, each built to capture a different riding spirit:

  1. Indian 101 Scout – The Premium Performance
  2. Indian Scout Classic – The Authentic & Timeless
  3. Indian Super Scout – The Nostalgic Cruiser
  4. Indian Scout Bobber – The Stripped, Iconic & Raw
  5. Indian Sport Scout – The Aggressive Spirit

This approach ensures that whether riders seek raw power, timeless design, or modern aggression, there is a Scout that speaks to their lifestyle and personality.

New Engine and Tech Upgrades

All Scout models are powered by the brand-new 1,250cc liquid-cooled SpeedPlus V-twin, producing 105 hp and 108 Nm of torque at 6,300 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox and belt final drive. The 101 Scout benefits from a tuned version of the engine, delivering 111 hp and more than 111 Nm of torque.

Standard equipment includes dual-channel ABS, LED headlight, keyed ignition, and an analogue gauge. The Limited package adds cruise control, three ride modes (Sport, Standard, Tour), traction control, and a USB charging port.

Meanwhile, the Tech package enhances the setup with keyless start and a 4-inch Ride Command touchscreen, featuring navigation, smartphone Bluetooth connectivity, vehicle locator, health monitoring, and tow/bump alerts.

Strengthening Presence in Malaysia

The 2025 lineup represents the most complete Scout family yet, catering to cruiser fans with varying styles from stripped-down Bobbers to classic-inspired cruisers and high-performance options.

Indian Motorcycle Malaysia stated that the launch signals its strong intent to provide Malaysian riders with the latest models, technology, and after-sales support to match the American brand’s heritage.
