After a string of second-place finishes, the SIC Racing rider eyes victory on French soil to boost his wildcard hopes for the MalaysianGP and strengthen his Moto3 future.

Malaysian rising star Hakim Danish is gearing up for a critical weekend as the second round of the 2025 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup gets underway at the legendary Le Mans Circuit. The 4.19-kilometre French track, known for its technical complexity with 14 corners,  nine right-handers and five left-handers, will challenge the physical and mental limits of the sport’s most promising young talents.

Competing under the banner of SIC Racing Team, Hakim Danish enters the French round with high expectations following an impressive start to his 2025 campaign. The 16-year-old, mentored by former Moto3 rider Zulfahmi Khairuddin, secured back-to-back second-place finishes in both races of the Rookies Cup season opener at Jerez, Spain. He then repeated the feat at Estoril, Portugal, during the first round of the FIM JuniorGP World Championship.

This strong form places Danish as a serious contender for the top step of the podium in Le Mans, where a victory could be a key stepping stone toward a wildcard entry at the MalaysianGP in October.

However, the stakes are high, with SIC Racing navigating financial limitations, only standout performances will strengthen Danish’s chances of breaking into the Moto3 World Championship next year. The French round is a pivotal moment in what could become a defining season for Hakim Danish, who continues to chase his dream of becoming the next Malaysian rider on the MotoGP world stage.

The schedule in Malaysian time is attached below.
