For those who have always dreamed of owning an MV Agusta Superveloce but find it financially out of reach, there’s an alternative that captures its essence without breaking the bank. QJ Motor, a Chinese manufacturer and former partner of MV Agusta in China, has introduced the SRK 125 E. It is a minibike inspired by the neo-retro styling of the Italian masterpiece.

Striking Design with a Retro Touch

The SRK 125 E is a head-turner, blending modern and classic aesthetics. It features a round LED headlight and front cowl, giving it a distinct neo-retro appeal reminiscent of the Superveloce. The aggressive tank extension with air ducts enhances aerodynamics, while clip-on handlebars with bar-end mirrors and a split-seat setup contribute to its sporty styling. At the rear, dual shock absorbers with gold-coloured expansion tanks further accentuate its bold look. While the design is certainly unique, it may not appeal to everyone—but it’s guaranteed to make an impression.

Engine and Performance

Powering the QJ Motor SRK 125 E is a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing 9.53PS and 9.8Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a CVT, making it an accessible and practical ride for urban environments. The bike is supported by an inverted telescopic fork at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both ends, mounted on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels. It comes with a seat height of 745mm, a ground clearance of 135mm, and a kerb weight of just 106kg. The SRK 125 E promises an easy and comfortable ride for a wide range of riders.

Features and Equipment

While QJ Motor has not officially listed all the features, the SRK 125 E does come with LED lighting all around and ABS sensor rings on the brake discs. However, the manufacturer has yet to confirm whether the bike is equipped with an ABS braking system.

Final Thoughts

The QJ Motor SRK 125 E may not be a true MV Agusta, but it successfully mimics the style and presence of the Italian brand’s Superveloce in an affordable package. While its availability outside China remains uncertain, it offers a fun and stylish alternative for those looking for an entry-level minibike with premium-inspired aesthetics. With its unique design and compact performance, the SRK 125 E is bound to turn heads on city streets.
