In an effort to further its commitment to local community service, iMotorbike Penang recently conducted its third Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative with a visit to the Bukit Mertajam-based Shine Home Association.
Shine Home Association, a non-profit organization founded in 2011, provides comprehensive care, specialized education, and support for 30 children and young adults with special needs. The residents, who range in age from four to 30, live with various conditions, including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, polio, Parkinson’s disease, and other developmental challenges.
The organization is led by four dedicated caregivers who focus on nurturing each individual’s unique potential. By offering tailored training and education, Shine Home strives to build the residents’ confidence and independence, ultimately helping them integrate more effectively into society.
During the visit, the iMotorbike Penang team engaged with the staff, caregivers, and children, while also providing essential supplies required for the centre’s day-to-day operations. This campaign highlights the company’s mission to support organizations that provide meaningful and lasting contributions to vulnerable groups.
Established in 2011, Shine Home Association is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing care, special education, and holistic support for children and young adults with special needs. The centre currently cares for 30 individuals aged between four and 30 years old, many of whom are living with conditions such as Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, polio, and other developmental disabilities.

Managed by a team of four dedicated caregivers, the organisation focuses on developing each individual’s abilities according to their potential. Through personalised education and training programmes, Shine Home aims to equip its residents with the skills and confidence needed to become more independent and better prepared for life in society.
During the visit, the iMotorbike Penang team delivered essential supplies to support the centre’s daily operations while spending quality time with the children, caregivers, and staff. The initiative reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting organisations that make a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable communities.
As part of iMotorbike’s nationwide CSR programme, the Penang showroom continues to organise monthly outreach initiatives alongside the company’s Glenmarie HQ and Johor showroom, reinforcing its mission of giving back and creating positive change in communities across Malaysia.
