Following the recent introduction of the CFMoto 675 SR-R in the Malaysian market, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that its naked sibling, the 675NK, will soon be available locally. The announcement was made by Pandu Laju through a social media post after attending the CFMoto Global Launch in Algarve, Portugal.

The 675NK was first unveiled at EICMA 2024 in Italy and is part of CFMoto’s all-new triple-cylinder platform. Sharing the same engine and features as the 675 SR-R, the 675NK is powered by a 675cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, three-cylinder engine that delivers 88 hp and 68 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch, as well as a quickshifter.

Performance and Features

The 675NK boasts a fully adjustable 41mm KYB USD fork at the front and a monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound at the rear. Braking is handled by four-piston radial-mount calipers gripping dual 300mm discs up front and a single-piston caliper with a 240mm disc at the rear. Two-channel ABS and two-level traction control come as standard, with a fuel tank capacity of 15 liters.

The bike is equipped with a 5-inch TFT display that offers phone connectivity and a comprehensive interface for accessing information and adjusting settings. Riders can also benefit from over-the-air (OTA) upgrades and enhanced interaction through the CFMoto RIDE app.

Design and Market Position

The 675NK combines high-tech features with a performance-driven design, making it a strong contender in the middleweight naked bike segment. Its arrival in Malaysia is expected to shake up the market, posing a challenge to established brands like Kawasaki, Triumph, and Honda.

The 675NK is essentially the naked version of the 675 SR-R, similar to how the 450NK complements the 450SR. The expected price is likely to be close to the SR-R’s RM37,888, potentially slightly lower as it’s a naked bike and also to attract a broader audience.

A Growing Contender

With CFMoto’s growing presence in the Asian market, the 675NK represents another step in the brand’s mission to dominate the middleweight segment. As Chinese manufacturers continue to innovate and offer competitive pricing, the landscape of the motorcycle market in Malaysia and beyond is set to evolve.

Stay tuned with iMotorbike for more updates on the official launch and pricing of the CFMoto 675NK in Malaysia!
