Ultraviolette Automotive, the Bengaluru-based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is setting new benchmarks in the performance electric two-wheeler segment. With the F77 already established as the fastest electric motorcycle on Indian roads and the F99 prototype breaking records on closed circuits, the company is now gearing up for a significant expansion.

Upcoming Lineup: A Diverse Range of EVs

Ultraviolette has teased its upcoming range of products, hinting at an ambitious expansion beyond the F77. The new lineup will officially debut on March 5, 2025, and will include five distinct motorcycle styles alongside a maxi-style scooter. These models will launch over the next two years and cater to various rider preferences.

Commenting on this development, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-Founder of Ultraviolette, stated:

“Our journey with the F77 was just the beginning. Over the past seven years, our unwavering focus on research and development has been instrumental in developing the technology for vertical integration across core systems such as Battery technology, Powertrain, and Safety systems.”

The teaser image suggests that Ultraviolette’s upcoming models will include:

  • Two naked streetfighters
  • One adventure tourer
  • One sports tourer
  • One cruiser
  • One Maxi-style scooter

Although detailed specifications are yet to be revealed, these models are expected to share core components, such as battery packs and motors, with the existing F77.

Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet: A New Addition to the F77 Family

In the midst of these exciting announcements, Ultraviolette recently introduced the F77 SuperStreet, a new derivative of its electric sports bike. Available in two variants – Standard and Recon, the SuperStreet comes with a price tag of Rs 2.99 lakh (approx. RM15,266.88) and Rs 3.99 lakh (RM20,372.86) (ex-showroom), respectively. Unlike the original F77, this model is designed for more comfortable city riding with revised ergonomics.

Key Specifications of the Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet

Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet comes equipped with a 7.1kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 211 km. It is powered by a Permanent Magnet AC Motor that produces 36.2PS of power and 90Nm of torque. The motorcycle boasts a top speed of 155 km/h and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds.

The SuperStreet Recon variant features an upgraded 10.3kWh battery, delivering an impressive 323 km range. While it retains the same motor, it offers a higher power output of 40.2PS and 100Nm of torque. This version achieves 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and accelerates from 0-40 km/h in just 2.7 seconds.

What Lies Ahead for Ultraviolette?

With its aggressive expansion plans, Ultraviolette is positioning itself as a dominant player in the electric two-wheeler market. The company’s commitment to research and development ensures that its upcoming lineup will offer cutting-edge battery technology, powerful performance, and top-tier safety features.

As we approach March 2025, anticipation is building around what Ultraviolette has in store. Whether you are a performance enthusiast, an adventure seeker, or a city commuter, the brand’s upcoming models promise something for every rider.
