Aveta Malaysia has once again raised the bar in the scooter segment with the launch of its all-new Nova scooter series, the 2025 Aveta Nova 160 and Nova 125. Designed to cater to the diverse needs of Malaysian riders, the Nova series combines cutting-edge design, robust performance, and practical features, making it an ideal choice for urban commuters.

The Nova 160 is powered by a 154.4 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, delivering 15.8 hp at 8,500 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The scooter rides on 14-inch wheels fitted with 100/80 (front) and 120/70 (rear) tyres.

Weighing in at 112 kg, the Nova 160 features a 10-litre fuel tank and a 778 mm seat height, making it accessible for a wide range of riders. Braking is handled by single hydraulic discs at both the front and rear, while suspension duties are managed by telescopic forks and twin shock absorbers adjustable for preload.

Available in three vibrant colours—Aveta Blue, Raven Red, and Copper Blaze—the Nova 160 is priced at an attractive RM7,988, offering exceptional value for riders seeking a blend of performance and practicality.

For those seeking a more compact option, the Nova 125 is powered by a 125 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC engine, producing 9 hp at 8,000 rpm and 8.8 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. With a 765 mm seat height and a 6-litre fuel tank, the Nova 125 weighs just 104 kg.

Braking on the Nova 125 is handled by a single hydraulic disc at the front and a mechanical drum brake at the rear. It also rides on 14-inch wheels with 80/90 (front) and 90/90 (rear) tyres. The scooter comes in three stylish colour options: Berry Peach, Grey Lemon, and Blue Lemon. Priced at RM5,188, the Nova 125 offers a premium riding experience at an accessible price point.

Every Aveta motorcycle and scooter sold in Malaysia comes with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects, ensuring peace of mind for riders. Both the Nova 160 and Nova 125 will be available at authorized Aveta dealerships nationwide starting March 2025.

Aveta Malaysia is also committed to providing exceptional aftersales support. With an expanding network of dealerships, service centres, and stockists across the country, riders can enjoy hassle-free ownership. Additionally, the Aveta Care on Wheels program offers door-to-door service, making maintenance and support more convenient than ever.

The launch of the Nova series underscores Aveta Malaysia’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. Whether it’s the powerful and feature-packed Nova 160 or the efficient and stylish Nova 125, these scooters are designed to meet the demands of local modern urban commuting.
