Modenas has recently launched the new Kriss 110 Fi, in conjunction with the introduction of its revamped logo and brand identity.
The local brand has retired its logo inspired by Mount Jerai in Kedah which has been with us since 1995, replacing it with a new “M” symbol that resembles stars in geometric form, offering a more modern and bold appearance.
In celebration of this new brand identity, the Kriss 110 Fi is the first Modenas model to showcase the updated emblem and font. Known as the “people’s icon,” the Kriss 110 Fi has undergone several enhancements, emphasizing modernity and environmental sustainability.
The Kriss 110 Fi is available in two variants: the base model, which comes with drum brakes on both the front and rear and a higher-end version featuring front disc brakes.
Both variants are equipped with 17-inch tubeless rims, with the disc brake model sporting 6-spoke rims, while the drum brake version comes with 5-spoke wheels.
One of the most notable improvements in the Kriss 110 Fi is the inclusion of an electronic fuel injection (EFI) system, enabling the motorcycle to meet stringent Euro 4 emissions standards. This upgrade reflects Modenas’ commitment to producing more environmentally friendly models.
Additional features on the new Kriss 110 Fi include a USB charger under the seat, an emergency hazard light, a gear position display meter panel, a 4.2-litre fuel tank, and an electric engine starter. The motorcycle retains its 107cc air-cooled SOHC single-cylinder engine.
In the local market, the base drum brake variant of the Kriss 110 Fi is expected to be priced at RM4,599, while the disc brake version will be available for RM4,998. These prices do not include insurance and road tax.
