Boon Siew Honda has introduced the 2024 Honda Vario 125 to the Malaysian market, featuring a refreshed design and four vibrant new colour options: Magenta, Black, Silver, and Red. These striking hues are set to make the sporty scooter stand out even more on the roads.

Updated Aesthetics for the Vario 125

The Honda Vario 125 has long been recognized for its sleek, sporty design, and the 2024 model takes it a step further with the new colour palette. The bold new shades enhance the scooter’s appeal on the tarmac everywhere around the Malaysian road, making it more eye-catching than ever.

Pricing and Warranty Details

The 2024 Honda Vario 125 is priced at RM 7,268, excluding road tax, insurance, and registration fees. While the new colour options come with a slight price increase, Boon Siew Honda backs the scooter with a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty, ensuring peace of mind for buyers.

Unchanged Specifications: Reliability Meets Performance

While the exterior has received a makeover, the Vario 125 retains its proven mechanical specifications. It continues to be powered by a 125cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine with enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology.

Certified as an Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV), the engine delivers impressive fuel efficiency alongside a maximum power output of 8.6 kW at 8,500 rpm and 11.7 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm.

The Vario 125 also features a Smart Key System that includes keyless ignition, an Anti-theft Alarm System, an Answer Back System, and easy access to the seat compartment.

A full digital speedometer enhances visibility, and the scooter is accredited with a 3-star rating by the Malaysia Motorcycle Assessment Program (MyMAP).

Riding on 14-inch wheels, the Vario 125 is equipped with a 90/80 front tyre and a 100/80 rear tyre. While it doesn’t feature ABS, the scooter is fitted with a hydraulic disc brake in the front and a mechanical drum brake in the rear, coupled with Honda’s combined braking system.

Suspension duties are handled by conventional telescopic forks up front and a preload-adjustable shock absorber in the rear.

Availability

The 2024 Honda Vario 125, featuring its new colour options, will be available at all IMPIAN X and authorized Honda dealerships across Malaysia starting from 17th August 2024.
