The Ducati Diavel V4 has secured the prestigious “Best of the Best” in the Product Design category at the 2024 Red Dot Awards. This international recognition highlights the excellence in design that characterizes Ducati motorcycles, designed and produced in Borgo Panigale.

Established in 1955, the Red Dot Award honours the most innovative and original designs each year. A panel of experts in product design, communication design, and design concepts decides the award. This year, the jury awarded the Diavel V4 the “Red Dot Award 2024: Best of the Best”. This is the competition’s highest honour, reserved for products that set new industry benchmarks.

This latest accolade adds to Ducati’s impressive list of design awards. The same top honour was previously awarded to the 1199 Panigale in 2013. The XDiavel received it in 2016, followed by the Diavel 1260 in 2019. These awards showcase Ducati’s consistent ability to blend style, sophistication, and performance.

The Diavel V4 stands out with its sophisticated design, featuring muscular yet elegant lines, a visually dominant front, and a sleek, agile rear.

Notable details include retractable footrests and a passenger handle. The V4 Granturismo engine enhances both the style and performance of the motorcycle. It comes with striking features such as spectacular LED lights, a substantial 240-section rear tyre on a machined five-spoke alloy wheel, and an eye-catching four-way silencer.

Since its launch, leading design institutions and the international press have recognized the Diavel V4. It has received the prestigious Good Design® Award and a Special Mention at the German Design Award 2024 from the German Design Council.

The Aalto Theatre in Essen, Germany, will host the 2024 Red Dot Award ceremony on June 24th. The Red Dot Museum in Zollverein, Essen, a UNESCO World Heritage site, will showcase the award winners.
