In the Morocco Desert Challenge, Pol Tarrés of the Ténéré Yamaha Rally Team dominated Stage 6, extending his lead by over one hour and twenty minutes. Despite setbacks in earlier stages, Tarrés bounced back with determination, reclaiming the top spot on the timesheets. His victory marked his fourth stage win and fifth podium finish.

The 205km loop special posed a tough challenge, with treacherous dunes and demanding stretches. Tarrés navigated the terrain with finesse, demonstrating his mastery over the unforgiving Moroccan desert.

The 205km loop special, a seemingly concise segment that belied its true nature, presented a formidable test for competitors. The stage required precision, skill, and unwavering resolve, spanning from majestic dunes to demanding stretches.

Tarrés adjusted his Ténéré 700 World Rally, using the three-stage GYTR Kits, drawing from past experiences. These tweaks not only improved the bike’s performance but also boosted Tarrés’ confidence, paving the way for his significant lead over rivals with 450cc single-cylinder bikes.

Tarrés smoothly navigated the terrain with finesse, like a dancer through dunes. He finished just over three and a half hours, nearly ten minutes ahead of his closest rival. This means that he has solidified his lead in the general classification.

As the rally heads to its second-to-last stage, Tarrés and the Ténéré Yamaha Rally Team prepare for tough challenges ahead. The seventh stage offers varied terrains, including daunting chotts, dunes, rocky tracks, and fast-flowing trails. Tarrés plans to maintain his lead with skill and strategy, understanding that winning this stage would bring him closer to claiming the Morocco Desert Challenge trophy.

In the heart of the Moroccan desert, Tarrés stands out as a symbol of resilience and skill. With each dune representing triumph and perseverance, he is on the brink of leaving his mark in rally racing history.
