When KTM introduced the KTM 1290 Super Duke RR in 2021, all 500 units of the limited edition model were sold out in less than an hour. Therefore, it is no surprise that KTM introduced the 2023 version to meet the demands of fans who missed the opportunity to get the machine two years ago.

Like the 2021 1290 Duke RR, this 2023 version achieves a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio. This latest model has 11kg less weight than the standard model. When matched with 180hp and 140Nm, the result is a machine that is not only powerful but also aggressive.

Like the previous generation, the KTM 1290 Super Duke RR 2023 also comes with a carbon fibre ‘subframe’. It features many other lightweight components used in other parts including ‘mudguard’, tank cover and engine guard.

The suspension package consists of a WP APEX PRO 7548 front fork and a WP APEX PRO 7746 rear shock absorber. Both the front and rear forks are adjustable.

As a machine that focuses on performance on the race track, the 1290 Super Duke RR comes with special circuit modes including Track and Performance. Those who want more power can choose to install the Akrapovic Evo exhaust system. This will further increase the horsepower of the machine.

Meanwhile, the feature that distinguishes the 2021 and 2023 models is the enrichment aspect. The latest model comes with an all-black colour option matched with an orange finish on the frame.
