Leaked image of the launch rehearsal presentation confirms the arrival of the much anticipated KTM 250 Adventure! Launching soon in India!

The KTM 250 Adventure was spotted undergoing through road tests numerous times. In case you missed our coverage on this, check it out here. This time we finally have something that somewhat officially confirms the arrival of the much anticipated KTM 250 Adventure.

The latest leaked image of the launch rehearsal presentation indicates the launch of the all-new KTM 250 Adventure for the Indian market is just days away!

[This post has more updates, please check the end of the article]

So as of now, here are the details we know about the incoming KTM 250 Adventure based on recent leaks and reports. (for the Indian market at least)

KTM 250 Adventure Specifications (Speculated)

To begin with, the KTM 250 Adventure would more likely feature the same chassis, fuel tank, fairings, non-adjustable front inverted forks and wheels as the India-spec 390 Adventure. Aside from this, the 250 Adventure would come with last-gen Duke halogen lights and a proper TFT instrument cluster. Sources from India suggested the 250 Adventure would feature switchable ABS, however, the 250 Adventure would lack traction control and ride by wire throttle.

In the case of the engine, the KTM 250 Adventure would be powered by the same 250 Duke engine. Boasting a BS6-compliant 249cc single-cylinder engine, mated to a 6-speed gearbox the 250 Adventure would push around 30hp and 23.9 Nm of peak torque.

KTM 250 Adventure Price

As for the price, sources from India suggests the 250 Adventure would be priced around Rs 2.40 lakhs [USD 3,200 / MYR 13,580]. Which is Rs 64,000 [USD 870/ MYR 3,600] lower than the 390 Adventure and around Rs 35,000 [USD 477/ MYR 1,900] more than the naked sibling, 250 Duke in India. As for the colour options; the 250 Adventure would follow the rest of the line-up with two colour schemes: Orange and black.

Availability outside of India

The KTM 250 Adventure will surely get out of the Indian market and move its way into markets where smaller displacement; Dukes, RCs and the 390 Adventure are offered. Well, when it comes to Malaysia, we are still waiting on the KTM 390 Adventure and we know the launch isn’t far away.  The KTM 390 Adventure was recently spotted in Malaysia a few days back and the official KTM Malaysia Facebook page has been teasing us with their “390 Adventure teaser” posts since March. So we think the KTM 250 Adventure would most likely make its way here after its bigger sibling; the 390 Adventure.

Update:

  • Short video footage of the KTM 250 Adventure dealer event has been recently leaked, here it is:

  • Pre-booking is already available through certain KTM dealers in India.
