Following the 0% GST rule introduced by the new Malaysian Government, KTM Malaysia has now changed the prices of their models to include this change. The change in prices will affect all models, including the road the off-road range. At the same time, KTM Malaysia is doing a promotion on the 2016 Super Duke R Special Edition and 1190 Adventure R.
Price reductions for the road-going models range between RM 1,230.00 for the 250 Duke (now priced at RM 20,500) and RM 7,080.00 for the 1290 Super Duke GT now priced RM 118,000.
As for the off-roaders, which include enduro, MX/SX, and Freeride models, customers will see reductions of between RM 2,070.00 for the 2017 KTM Freeride 350 (now priced at RM 34,500) and RM 3,030.00 for the 2018 KTM 450 EXC-F Six Days (now priced at RM 50,500.00).
As for the two models included in a special promotion, KTM Malaysia decided to lower the price of what is considered to be one of the best supernaked bikes on the market today, the 1290 Super Duke R Special Edition. The 2016 version is now priced at RM93,800, a reduction of RM31,280 compared to the regular price.
The 1190 Adventure R also benefits from a lower price, and is now rated at RM79,800, a reduction of RM25,988 comparing to the normal RM105,788 price.
All prices are Basic Selling Price with 0% GST and not-on-the road. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, and you better pick your new KTM before the Sales & Services Tax (SST) takes effect in September 2018.
