ZK Racing has officially announced the rebranding of the RCB MiniMoto Championship to the RCB MotoKidz Championship. This marks a new chapter in Malaysia’s grassroots two-wheel racing development programme.

As the official organiser of the national junior development series, ZK Racing confirmed that the name change takes effect immediately. Title sponsor RCB remains fully committed to the long-term growth of the championship. They will continue to play a key role in supporting structured youth rider development since 2025.

Now entering its second season, the RCB MotoKidz Championship will stage five rounds in 2026. They will continue as a support class to the FIM MotoMini Malaysia series, which opens in May 2026. The championship continues to attract strong support from Malaysia’s motorsport community, with increasing participation and interest from young riders and their families.

The rebranding aligns the championship with the broader “Moto” naming structure used across national and international development pathways. This includes series such as MotoMini Malaysia (formerly MiniGP), the Moto4 Asia Cup, Moto3 Junior, and world championship classes like Moto3, Moto2, and MotoGP.

By adopting the MotoKidz identity, the championship strengthens a clearer and more progressive rider development ladder, beginning at the children’s level and extending toward the highest tiers of professional racing.

True to its new name, the RCB MotoKidz Championship focuses on children aged between six and nine years old. It provides a structured and safe environment for young talents to begin their racing journey. The series serves as a foundational stepping stone before riders advance to MotoMini and higher categories within the development ecosystem.

According to ZK Racing, the rebranding represents more than a cosmetic update. It reflects a long-term vision to establish a more consistent, internationally aligned and competitive development structure for Malaysian two-wheel motorsport.

With its refreshed identity, the RCB MotoKidz Championship is set to continue playing a vital role in shaping the next generation of riders, offering young talents a clearer pathway toward professional racing both regionally and on the world stage.
