Alongside the launch of the Trident 800, Didi Group has also introduced a more aggressive addition to Triumph Malaysia’s lineup, the Street Triple 765 RX. Positioned above the Street Triple 765 RS, the RX variant is priced at RM81,100 excluding insurance and will be available for a limited time only.

First introduced in 2015, the RX badge represents a more performance-focused evolution of the Street Triple platform. For 2026, the Street Triple 765 RX builds on the already capable RS model with several key upgrades aimed at delivering a sharper riding experience.

One of the most significant enhancements is the suspension setup. The RX features fully adjustable Öhlins NIX30 upside-down forks at the front and an Öhlins STX40 monoshock at the rear, elevating handling precision and feedback for both road and track use.

The riding position has also been revised for a sportier feel. Unlike the 765 RS which uses a conventional handlebar, the RX comes fitted with clip-on handlebars, giving it a more aggressive, sporty and also forward-leaning stance, making it a race-ready machine.

Braking performance is equally impressive. The RX is equipped with twin 310 mm front discs paired with Brembo Stylema calipers, while the rear uses a 220 mm disc with a Brembo single-piston caliper. A Brembo MCS master cylinder further enhances braking control and feel.

Visually, the RX stands out with exclusive finishes and detailing. It features a Matt Aluminum Silver paint scheme complemented by a Diablo Red subframe and rims. Additional touches include an RX logo on the exhaust, a dedicated RX seat, and a specially moulded upper yoke.

Powering the Street Triple 765 RX is the same 765cc inline three-cylinder engine found in the RS, producing 130 PS at 12,000 rpm and 80 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter for seamless upshifts and downshifts.

Rider aids include Optimised Cornering ABS, Traction Control, and the addition of ABS Track mode. A five-inch TFT display provides key riding information, while the bike rolls on 17-inch wheels fitted with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres. The motorcycle weighs 188 kg and carries a 15-litre fuel tank.

With its premium Öhlins hardware, race-inspired ergonomics and limited availability, the Triumph Street Triple 765 RX is set to appeal to riders seeking a sharper, more track-oriented middleweight naked machine in Malaysia.
