Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn. Bhd. (MODENAS), a member of the DRB-HICOM Group, today celebrated a major milestone with the official opening of the Kawasaki Technical Centre (KTC) and the new Edaran Modenas Sdn. Bhd. (EMOS) headquarters at Novus Business Park, Glenmarie.
The grand opening was officiated by En. Roslan Roskan, Chief Executive Officer of MODENAS, marking a strategic leap forward in MODENAS and Kawasaki’s shared mission to deliver world-class aftersales service, technical excellence, and enhanced customer engagement for Malaysian riders.
“For every Kawasaki rider, KTC is our promise of confidence—that beyond performance, you can count on reliability, safety, and future-ready support,” said En. Roslan. “By bringing EMOS and KTC under one roof, we strengthen collaboration, accelerate response times, and create a seamless experience for our customers and partners.”

A Hub for Technical Excellence and Talent Development
Mr. Go Nomura, General Manager of QA Division at Kawasaki Motors Corporation Japan, highlighted that the establishment of the KTC connects Malaysia directly to Kawasaki’s global service network, ensuring local riders benefit from the same world-class standards applied globally.
The new KTC serves as Malaysia’s central hub for Kawasaki’s technical excellence and aftersales operations, built on four key pillars:
- Technical Training Centre – structured product and technical training for dealer technicians.
- Service Operations Hub – reference point for technical guidance, process standardisation, and product improvement.
- Spare Parts & Tools Management – ensuring readiness and logistics efficiency for parts and tools.
- Quality & Warranty Support – escalation point for diagnostics, inspections, and warranty evaluations.
Beyond its operational role, the KTC will also act as a talent development platform, upskilling dealer technicians and nurturing new talent aligned with Kawasaki’s global standards and Malaysia’s TVET aspirations.
“KTC is not just about machines, it’s about people,” said Mr. Jin Inoue, Chief Marketing Officer of MODENAS. “By equipping our dealers and technicians with world-class knowledge, we give every Kawasaki rider confidence that their journey is supported at every step.”
