With Austria now in the rear-view mirror, Aprilia Racing is wasting no time as the MotoGP paddock heads to Hungary for Round 14 of the season. This weekend will mark history at the newly built Balaton Park, bringing MotoGP back to Hungary for the first time in 33 years.

Flying the flag for the Noale factory are Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín. Bezzecchi arrives in Hungary on the back of an impressive third-place finish at the Red Bull Ring – his sixth podium of the year, which also includes a memorable victory at Silverstone. The Italian is determined to keep the momentum going and prove once again how well he has gelled with the RS-GP.

Across the garage, Jorge Martín continues to adapt to the RS-GP25. Still only two races into his Aprilia journey, the Spaniard has shown steady progress and signs of promise, even if the process is demanding. For him, Balaton Park represents not just a new track but also a chance to log crucial kilometres and grow his confidence with the bike.

Located near Lake Balaton, the circuit stretches 4.08 km with 17 corners – ten left-handers and seven right-handers – and officially joins the MotoGP calendar this year. For all riders, the Hungarian GP will be a step into the unknown, adding to the excitement and unpredictability.

Marco Bezzecchi: “Balaton will be interesting. It’s always nice to take on a new track and I’m curious to discover it. We are coming from a series of positive results and, as always, we’ll be trying to work hard to give it our all in Hungary too.”

Jorge Martín: “I’m headed to Balaton after a positive weekend, where I started understanding a lot of things about the bike and building a bit of feeling. I need to remember that I’ve only ridden two races with the RS-GP25 and I need time, although it isn’t always easy to accept being behind when I’m giving one hundred percent. The goal at Balaton will be to continue growing on a track that is new for everyone. Getting kilometres in will be especially important, as well as getting increasingly closer to a good feeling, because we have incredibly huge potential.”

With just seven rounds left in the championship, Aprilia Racing knows every point matters. Balaton Park promises to be a thrilling new battleground where both Bezzecchi and Martín will be looking to make their mark.
