A century after introducing its first motorized bicycle, Belgian motorcycle company Saroléa has taken a bold step into the speed pedelec segment. The new Saroléa LE60 seamlessly merges historical craftsmanship with modern technology. It offers a high-performance electric bike with a unique blend of innovation and heritage. Limited to just sixty units, this exclusive e-bike is now available for purchase through Saroléa’s online store.

A Legacy of Innovation

Saroléa has a long history of engineering excellence, dating back to 1850. The company initially made a name for itself in the motorcycle industry and is now applying its expertise to electric mobility. “The electric drivetrain may have replaced the combustion engine, but our core philosophy remains unchanged,” says CEO Bjorn Robbens. “We’ve combined our deep knowledge in performance, propulsion, and carbon materials to create a specialized product that embodies Saroléa’s commitment to quality and innovation.”

Cutting-Edge Performance and Design

The Saroléa LE60 is built to offer top-tier performance with a lightweight yet durable structure. Its carbon fibre frame and components contribute to its incredibly light weight of just 26 kg. This makes it the lightest dual-motor speed pedelec on the market. With a 1,200W dual-motor system, the bike accelerates swiftly, cuts through headwinds, and climbs steep inclines with ease.

The integrated 1,200 Wh battery, developed in-house, provides a range of up to 130 km depending on assist mode and riding conditions. The use of high-end carbon materials enhances stiffness and responsiveness, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride.

Smart Features and Connectivity

The LE60 is equipped with advanced digital features to enhance user experience. It features a fully integrated cockpit with a 6-inch HD screen, offering GPS navigation, real-time weather updates, media controls, and a wattage-based training program. The e-bike also includes 4G connectivity, allowing for real-time tracking and updates, while a personal code lock adds an extra layer of security.

Riders can further customize their experience through a smartphone app that enables personalized configurations, ride data analysis, and GPX route uploads. These features make the LE60 not just a high-performance pedelec but also a connected and interactive riding companion.

A Premium and Authentic Aesthetic

Saroléa’s dedication to craftsmanship is evident in the LE60’s striking design. The bike sports a glossy black piano lacquer finish with gold accents, a nod to the brand’s motorsport heritage. The vintage-style Brooks carbon saddle and grips add a classic touch, while the optional flex seat post enhances comfort by providing superior shock absorption.

Every detail, from the hand-stitched saddle with tricolour stitching to the titanium pedals and numbered plates, reflects Saroléa’s commitment to premium quality. The LE60 is designed not just as a performance machine but as a collector’s piece that embodies both heritage and cutting-edge technology.

Exclusivity and Pricing

With only sixty units available, the Saroléa LE60 is a rare and exclusive offering. Priced at €14,000, it stands alongside high-end competitors like the Stromer ST7. Buyers can purchase or lease the bike through Saroléa’s webshop, with options for test rides and direct home delivery. The company also provides a pick-up and delivery service for maintenance, ensuring convenience for owners.

The Future of Electric Cycling

The Saroléa LE60 represents a bold step into the future of electric mobility while honouring the company’s rich past. Combining advanced technology with traditional craftsmanship, this speed pedelec is designed for cycling enthusiasts and collectors who appreciate performance, exclusivity, and innovation. With its unparalleled blend of style, power, and connectivity, the LE60 redefines what a high-end electric bicycle can be.
