Ducati has officially introduced the XDiavel V4, the latest addition to its high-performance cruiser lineup, in the latest episode of the Ducati World Première 2025. With a MotoGP-derived V4 Granturismo engine, a bold new design, and cutting-edge electronics, the XDiavel V4 takes the original XDiavel 1260 concept to new heights, promising an even more muscular, sophisticated, and high-performance ride.

A MotoGP Heart in a Cruiser Body

For the first time, the XDiavel joins Ducati’s V4 family, integrating the 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine into its aluminium monocoque frame. This 168-hp powerplant, derived from the Desmosedici Stradale, features a counter-rotating crankshaft to reduce gyroscopic effect and an extended cylinder deactivation system, allowing it to switch between twin-cylinder and four-cylinder operation.

With 126 Nm of torque, the XDiavel V4 rockets from 0-100 km/h in under three seconds, offering an unparalleled combination of cruiser comfort and sportbike aggression. The engine’s four-exit exhaust is finished in gloss black, a unique touch within Ducati’s V4 lineup.

Lighter, Faster, and More Refined

Weighing just 229 kg dry, the XDiavel V4 is 6 kg lighter than its predecessor, improving agility and acceleration. It retains its signature single-sided aluminium swingarm, with the rear suspension gaining 25 mm of extra travel for improved comfort. The front end features a fully adjustable inverted fork for enhanced handling.

Riders can fine-tune their experience with three power modes and four riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet). Ducati’s state-of-the-art electronics package includes:

  • Ducati Traction Control (DTC)
  • Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC)
  • ABS Cornering

Signature Styling Meets Modern Tech

Staying true to its bold and muscular cruiser DNA, the XDiavel V4 features a sculpted 20-litre fuel tank, evoking supercar and American muscle bike vibes. The new two-tone seat, positioned 770 mm off the ground, offers a sporty yet comfortable riding position, with optional rear-set footpegs for an even more aggressive stance.

Passengers also benefit from a 30% wider, 50% longer, and 25 mm thicker seat, ensuring enhanced comfort, along with a standard grab handle. Lighting is all-LED, with a distinctive front and rear signature, while the handlebars feature backlit controls.

A 6.9-inch full-colour TFT display, shared with the Panigale V4, offers Smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, Turn-by-turn navigation, Call, message, and music control. Also, for the first time, the 2025 XDiavel is available in two metallic colour options: Burning Red and Black Lava.

Ducati has confirmed that the XDiavel V4 will arrive in dealerships by May 2025. With its combination of performance, technology, and style, the latest iteration of the XDiavel is set to redefine the sport cruiser segment.
