It includes BMW ShiftCam technology for optimized performance and an advanced knock sensor system for engine protection. The engine offers exemplary fuel economy and low emission levels.

The redesigned chassis has a sheet metal main frame and an aluminium lattice tube rear frame. It provides enhanced steering precision and riding stability. The new EVO Telelever with flex element and revised EVO Paralever rear wheel guide improve handling and comfort.

Safety and control are paramount. The R 1300 GS Adventure includes BMW Motorrad Full Integral ABS, Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), and Hill Start Control (HSC). Riders can choose from four standard riding modes, with optional Riding Modes Pro adding three more. The optional Electronic Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA) offers dynamic damping and spring rate adjustment.
