Honda CBR250RR SP is now open for pre-booking in Malaysia!

The official launch of the much anticipated  Honda CBR250RR SP for Malaysia is set for December 2020! Pre-booking is now open for Malaysia!

Just Launched!

Honda CBR250RR Officially Launched in Malaysia – RM 25,999

Update:

Honda CBR250RR to be launched in Malaysia on 18th December 2020

Earlier last month Boon Siew Honda launched the Honda CBR250RR Race Support Programme for the Malaysian market. Set to uplift the motorcycle racing scene in Malaysia, BSH’s Race Support Programme offers race-prepared track-only Honda CBR250RR for amateur riders to take part in the 2021 MSBK (Malaysia Superbike Championship) 250 subclass races.

Following this, we started hearing rumours about the roadgoing Honda CBR250RR coming to our shores and we speculated the Honda CBR250RR would get into Malaysia by next year but well, it’s getting in sooner and better than we thought folks!

Here is the good news! Honda Bigwig dealers have already started advertising the roadgoing Honda CBR250RR SP. Yep, the highest spec Honda CBR250RR!  In fact, pre-booking for the Honda CBR250RR SP is already open for as low as MYR 500! After doing some digging, we found out the official launch of the Honda CBR250RR SP for the Malaysian market is set for December 2020! To be exact 1st of December 2020. However, with the ongoing CMCO, we sure do hope everything gets settled by then.

The Honda CBR250RR SP

So speaking of the Honda CBR250RR SP, we are pretty boggled to find out the variant that’s coming to Malaysia is actually the highest variant of the CBR250RR, the 250RR SP. The CBR250RR SP comes equipped with a quick shifter, assist/ slipper clutch, 3 riding modes and ride by wire. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox the CBR250RR SP pushes 41.57 hp @ 13,000 rpm and a maximum torque of  25 Nm @ 11,000 rpm. Weighing 168 kg, the CBR250RR SP is indeed a fast agile machine for the road.

Honda CBR250RR SP Price Malaysia

Yes, we know you guys all want to hear the price. Well, we don’t have the exact pricing details but one of our sources confirmed the price wouldn’t be more than MYR 30,000 (including road tax, insurance and registration fees).
