You know we’re talking about a Russian motorcycle when the name of the manufacturer is Kalashnikov! That’s right, the name we usually associate with the famous AK47 machine gun, they also make motorcycles, and this one is, well, the best way to describe it is that she is gargantuan!
The Kalashnikov IZH is an electric cruiser, and its dimensions are truly unbelievable.
Produced by Izhmash, one of the oldest brands of the former Soviet Union and now part of Kalashnikov, this cruiser measures almost 3 meters long, 2,9 meters to be more precise, and the electric engine is capable of moving the bike up to a max speed of 250 km/h and push the 100km/h barrier from standstill in just 3,5 seconds. The most impressive number of course, is the weight: 515 kg!
This won’t make the Kalashnikov IZH very easy to maneuver at lower speeds, but the Russian manufacturer is now testing the bike on the road before unveiling the production version in 2019, in front of President Vladimir Putin himself.
We’re curious to see how this electric cruiser with monster dimensions is able to ride.
