White Motorcycle Concepts (WMC) and Pininfarina have embarked on an exciting new collaboration, combining cutting-edge aerodynamics with visionary design to push the boundaries of motorcycle innovation. This partnership brings together WMC’s pioneering aerodynamic technology and Pininfarina’s world-renowned expertise in automotive design, marking a significant step forward in the evolution of two-wheeled performance and efficiency.
A Celebration of Innovation at Pininfarina’s Wind Tunnel
Last week, WMC, founded by Robert White, participated in an exclusive event at Pininfarina’s wind tunnel—a highlight of the Italian firm’s 95th-anniversary celebrations. The event showcased WMC’s groundbreaking work in motorcycle aerodynamics, including:
- The WMC250EV electric land speed record holder
- The WMC300E+ emergency response tricycle
- The WMCSRS concept, developed in partnership with Zero Motorcycles
The WMC250EV, which set a land speed record for electric motorcycles, was a key highlight of the event, demonstrating how advanced aerodynamic efficiency can enhance speed and performance in electric mobility.

Pininfarina’s Design Study: Integrating WMC Aerodynamics into Production Motorcycles
As part of this collaboration, Pininfarina unveiled a design study showing how WMC’s aerodynamic duct system can fit future motorcycles.
This technology is already in several models, including the WMC250EV, which set a land speed record for electric motorcycles.
It is also in the WMC300E+, an emergency response tricycle, and the WMCSRS concept, developed with Zero Motorcycles for versatility.
Now, Pininfarina’s study explores how this system can enhance small combustion-engine motorcycles, proving its adaptability across various powertrains.

A Future of Aerodynamic Efficiency in Motorcycles
The collaboration between WMC and Pininfarina signals a transformative approach to motorcycle design—one that prioritizes efficiency, speed, and sustainability. By refining aerodynamics, motorcycles can achieve better performance, increased range, and lower environmental impact, whether they are powered by electric motors or internal combustion engines.
As WMC and Pininfarina advance their research, this partnership could reshape motorcycle design. With aerodynamics leading the way, two-wheeled mobility will become sleeker, faster, and more efficient.
