The Gresini Ducati team has officially revealed its 2025 MotoGP livery during a spectacular event held at the iconic Imola circuit on Saturday.
Marking its fourth season as an independent outfit since parting ways with Aprilia, Gresini Ducati has introduced a bold new look that reflects its ambitions for the upcoming season. The fresh livery features a pastel blue base, accented with reduced red elements and enhanced silver highlights, giving the bike a sleek and modern aesthetic.
Gresini will once again rely on Ducati machinery, fielding the GP24 bikes for its rider lineup of Alex Marquez and MotoGP rookie Fermin Aldeguer. Marquez embarks on his third season with the team following a challenging 2024 campaign that saw him secure just one podium and finish eighth in the standings. Despite the hurdles, Marquez remains optimistic and eager to deliver stronger results in 2025.
“I’m starting my third consecutive year with the team, and this winter felt incredibly long,” said Marquez. “The new colours are incredible, and I hope everyone loves them. I’ve done everything I could during the off-season to be as prepared as possible physically and mentally. We’d love for these colours to bring us great results.”
Joining Marquez is 18-year-old Fermin Aldeguer, who steps up from Moto2 after an impressive season that included five victories and a third-place finish in the championship. Aldeguer made his MotoGP debut during the Barcelona post-season test, where he showcased promising speed as the fastest rookie.
“This is a first for me on many levels,” said Aldeguer. “The new livery is fantastic and aggressive, perfectly reflecting the spirit of this team. The desire to hit the track is high, and this unveiling feels like a major step toward the 2025 season.”
Team owner Nadia Padovani also expressed her excitement about the season ahead stating, “We’re leaving behind a great 2024 and embracing 2025 with high expectations. We have a team with plenty of experience and two very talented riders. Fermin has already found his place in our hearts, while Alex can and must battle for the top five every race weekend. The new bike design, with its chrome touches, is something special. We’re ready to make an impact.”
Gresini’s unveiling follows the recent livery reveals of Trackhouse and Aprilia, with Jorge Martin’s #1 plate being a standout moment. All eyes now turn to Ducati’s factory team launch, set to take place on January 20 in Italy, where Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia will debut their 2025 machines.
