Zeeho, a subsidiary of CFMoto, has officially entered Malaysia’s automotive scene with the launch of its futuristic electric scooter, AE4. This introduction coincides with the opening of the CFMoto Flagship Store at ICity Motoworld Shah Alam, marking a significant step in expanding the country’s electric vehicle (EV) network.

As Malaysia increasingly embraces green technology, Zeeho’s entry aligns with the government’s Electric Motorcycle Incentive Scheme (MARiiCas), introduced in the 2024 Budget. The scheme encourages the adoption of electric vehicles as part of a broader push toward environmental sustainability.

The Zeeho AE4, priced at RM6,999.00 (excluding road tax and insurance), is available in three eye-catching colours: Helios Orange, Nebula White, and Velocity Gray. It boasts a 31L storage compartment, making it practical for everyday use.

Zeeho AE4 Velocity Gray

Measuring 1910mm in length, 743mm in width, and 1154mm in height, the ZEEHO AE4 offers a compact yet comfortable design, with a lightweight of 96kg and a seat height of 770mm. It features front and rear disc brakes for improved safety, while its adjustable dual-spring suspension ensures a smooth ride, even on rough terrain.

Powered by a lithium battery, the AE4 delivers a rated output of 1.6kW (2.1hp) and a peak power of 3kW (4hp). According to CFMOTO, the electric scooter can accelerate from 0 to 30km/h in less than 3.5 seconds, though its top speed is capped at 65km/h, which explains the focus on acceleration.

Zeeho’s AE4 comes equipped with cutting-edge technology, including Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, allowing for automatic software upgrades via an internet connection without the need for a service centre visit. The Zeeho Ride app also enhances security, enabling users to monitor, lock, and track their vehicles remotely.

The AE4 features the EasyRide system, which offers multiple riding modes to suit different styles, along with cruise control for long-distance comfort. Riders can start the scooter in five different ways, including NFC, key, Bluetooth, password, and 4G internet access. It also includes a USB charging port and a small storage space for essential items like smartphones.

Zeeho AE4 will be available for purchase starting in December 2024. It comes with a two-year or 20,000km warranty for battery and motor-related parts, as well as a one-year or 10,000km warranty for electrical components. Buyers can also conveniently purchase genuine spare parts online from CFMoto Malaysia.
