73 Moto Productions, a company that bridges the dynamic worlds of filmmaking and motorcycling to create cinematic experiences resonating with enthusiasts worldwide, has recently released a documentary feature film highlighting the impact of women in the motorcycle industry.
The documentary, titled “She Rides,” celebrates women who race, compete, adventure, run businesses, and build and engineer motorcycles. The documentary shines a spotlight on women who continuously rewrite the narrative and push boundaries, paving the way for future generations to defy societal expectations and forge their own paths.
Directed by Gareth Maxwell Roberts, “She Rides” offers an engaging and in-depth examination of women in motorcycling, narrated by the women who ride. Roberts, who previously directed the critically acclaimed documentary “Oil In The Blood” in 2019, recognized the importance of women’s contributions to the male-dominated motorcycle culture during the making of his earlier film. He featured a chapter on women in motorcycling and believed the topic deserved its own documentary.
