Unveiling their motorcycles and fresh racing colors, SCK Honda Racing Team is ready to hit the track with determination. Led by team principal Soong Wai Loan and manager Sunny Siow, the team is set to compete with the Honda RS-X 150 in the CP150 class and the Honda Wave 125 in the CP125 category.

In the CP150 class, the team boasts a formidable lineup with riders Helmi Azman, Mohamad Amirul Ariff Musa, and Tengku Amirul Haffiruddin Tengku Hanafi. Meanwhile, Adib Hareez Hazwat will represent SCK Honda Racing in the CP125 category.

Their rivals, the Yamaha Tekhne AHM Motor Sports team, are also revving up their engines for the season ahead. Spearheaded by team chairman Kenny Chua and CEO William Chua, the team is a collaboration between Yamaha and Tekhne, with a rich history spanning 35 years in Malaysian motorcycle racing.

Fielding a talented squad, the Yamaha Tekhne team is prepared to compete fiercely in both the CP150 and CP125 classes. Iqbal Amri Malik, Faiz Zekri, and Syukran Aizat will take on the challenge in the CP150 class, while Afizad Supaat and Iqram Danish will lead the charge in the CP125 category.

As the Malaysian Cub Prix season kicks off with the first round in Jasin, Malacca, on March 2 and 3, anticipation is high for an action-packed competition between these two powerhouse teams.
