Aveta Motor Malaysia has officially announced the arrival of the upgraded Aveta Vanguard 250 2026 , with nationwide availability beginning early March 2026. Priced at RM16,688 excluding road tax, insurance and registration, the latest refinement highlights Aveta’s ongoing commitment to evolving its products through direct rider feedback and real-world usage insights.

The updated Vanguard 250 receives 10 major enhancements, headlined by a new 7-inch TFT-LCD touchscreen display that brings a more modern and premium feel to the cockpit. This is complemented by an electrically adjustable windshield, allowing riders to fine-tune wind protection while on the move, and redesigned switch gear for more intuitive and convenient operation during rides.

Ergonomics and practicality have not been overlooked. The seat has been reshaped to provide better reach at standstill, helping riders plant their feet more confidently while maintaining comfort over longer journeys. Passenger comfort has also been improved with an extended exhaust cover to reduce heat exposure, alongside upgraded pillion footpegs that enhance overall safety.

Under-seat storage has also been improved, now better accommodating a full-face helmet, making the Vanguard 250 more practical for daily commuting and touring alike. Further refinements include revised rear shock absorber settings for improved ride stability under varying loads, whether riding solo or with a passenger.

ABS and Traction Control System (TCS) are now switchable, giving riders greater flexibility to adapt the scooter to different road conditions, including light off-road riding. In addition, the engine cover has been redesigned to allow easier access for maintenance.

Powering the Vanguard 250 is a 244.2 cc SOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-valve engine equipped with Bosch EFI. The engine produces 24.8 hp and 22.5 Nm of torque, with power delivered to the rear wheel via a CVT transmission and belt drive.

The 2026 Aveta Vanguard 250 will be offered in two colour options; Nano Green and Desert Bronze, and will be available at all authorised Aveta dealer showrooms nationwide starting March 2026.

With its latest updates, the Vanguard 250 aims to strengthen its position in Malaysia’s growing adventure-scooter segment by combining modern technology, everyday practicality and competitive pricing.
