This custom Royal Enfield 500 Bullet by GDesign will make your jaw drop

From Rajasthan to Rome, ready to grace your eyes with perhaps the greatest custom Royal Enfield 500 Bullet ever?

iMotorbike is back featuring the latest custom motorcycles there is out there. This time, we have taken the liberty to highlight this masterpiece by 54-year-old Giacomo Galbiati GDesign Custom Motorcycle in Como, Italy. Your eyes will be hooked to this impressive and stunning 2008 Royal Enfield 500 Bullet that channels both the traditional elements of Rajasthan with old Rome vibes.

Originally hailing from Britain, the Royal Enfield has much been adapted to India and has a strong link with the nation’s identity. In this custom bike, Giacomo intended on keeping this element added his own flair to the bike.

“ I never look at the clock when I have a plan in mind and go straight on my way. My philosophy has been to build and sell, it is difficult for me to accept the client’s directives,” says Giacomo as quoted from Pipeburn.

Giacomo stripped the bike down to its bare frame and inserted new sets of forks ordered from India. He then strengthened the swingarm before stretching it 60mm further. Then, he inserted a set of lower rear shocks to get the stance right. Once that is done, Giacomo mounted a set of 13 spoke mag wheels onto the bike. The wheels come with Ensign Trials Universal rubber. The large fender fills out the extended swingarm.

The fuel tank of the bike will leave you in awe. The left side is strictly for fuel whereas the right side features all the bike’s electricals. The key insert is on top of the tank along with a single button to start the bike. The vintage gauges draw you in with the pop of colour from the brass bezels. The brass touches make the black aesthetics of the bike stand out more. Giacomo also stitched the leather seat of the bike with metallic hues and all intricate details of the bike come with exquisite workmanship.

“My philosophy is a little different, I focus more on the artistic factor,” says Giacomo.

The engine features old school mechanical sensibilities. Giacomo bent up a single turn and let the gasses rumble out via a slashed cut tip. The classic Royal Enfield look comes with a modern touch.

By merging two great cultures, Giacomo has definitely amazed us with this magnificent custom piece.
