The Triumph Street Triple RS and Triumph Tiger 900 will hit India by the end of June 2020.
Triumph Motorcycles is set to launch two new motorcycles in India by June 2020. According to LiveMint, at least one of the bikes will be BS-IV compliant version of the 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS. On the other hand, the second bike will be the new Triumph Tiger 900. Triumph showcased the Tiger 900 earlier this month.
The firm has aimed to sell over 1,000 units in India this fiscal year (1 July to 30 June). Rest of the range receive upgrades to meet the upcoming BS-VI emission norms in March 2020. Triumph revealed the 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 with the world’s largest series production engine earlier this month.
The Triumph Street Triple RS comes with a cosmetic makeover. It features new LED headlights, redesigned Daytime Running Lights. It has a new fly-screen and a more pronounced air intake. Powering the bike is a 765 cc in-line three-cylinder motor with a new exhaust cam and new machining on the crankshaft, clutch and balancer. It is able to deliver the same 123 PS of power and an increased 79 Nm of torque (up by 2 Nm).
The Triumph Tiger 900 has a 888 cc liquid-cooled, in-line three-cylinder mill. It is capable of producing 95.2 PS of power and 87 Nm of torque.
The launch of the 2020 Triumph Street Triple BS-VI in India will happen by January 2020. The Triumph Tiger 900 will likely make its debut on June 2020.
