One of the biggest Ducati dealerships in America created a unique Panigale V4 as a tribute to Nicky Hayden.
At the last Americas GP in Austin, Texas, Ducati dealership Motocorsa decided to reveal their latest work. A Panigale V4 completely redesigned to be a replica of the MotoGP bike raced by Nicky Hayden in 2012.
Motocorsa revealed the bike in front of thousands of fans at the Circuit of the Americas. Dubbed the Ducati Panigale V4 Nicky Hayden Tribute, this unique bike will be on eBay on August 1st. Motocorsa wants to auction the bike and give the money to Nicky Hayden Foundation, run by Hayden’s family.
And what changes did they do to the Panigale V4?
Well, Motocorsa changed a lot of parts. The paint scheme is a replica of the one used on Hayden’s 2012 MotoGP Ducati. The work was done all by hand, with Eddie Slepicka signature. No decals, no stickers. Just paint. And the result is awesome!
Besides the paint, the Ducati Panigale V4 Nicky Hayden Tribute also gets new parts.
The most important is a new Öhlins R/T suspension at the front and TTX shock at the rear. Wheels are also new, and much lighter, a set of Superleggera carbon wheels from BST. To give the V4 the aural note it deserves, they’ve opted to install the Akrapovic slip-on titanium exhaust. Other changes are the machined rear sets and the STM dry clutch seen on the Panigale V4 R.
Of course, Motocorsa also used a new top yoke, complete with a laser inscription “01/01” and Hayden’s #69 logo.
And the price to get this beauty?
According to Motocorsa, the Panigale V4 Nicky Hayden Tribute will be auctioned on eBay. Besides the regular bids, the Ducati dealership will add the “Buy Now” button. The price set is of 69.000 American dollars.
