In case you missed out, Kawasaki has revealed two new learner legal motorcycles for the year 2019. The plans were announced at the EICMA in 2017 and now bike enthusiasts get the chance to see it with their own eyes.
Inspired by its larger ‘Sugomi’-styled performance models, Kawasaki will be providing two sporty bikes namely the Ninja 125 and the Z125. They share a single-cylinder, water-cooled 125cc engine that is capable of producing 14.8hp, with a high revving top end. The engines are housed in a sleek tubular trellis frame.
The Ninja’s exterior is inspired by Jonathan Rea’s three-time WSBK champion Ninja ZX-10RR whereas the Z125 has more of an aggressive naked look. Both bikes have accessible seat heights with the Ninja sitting at 785mm and the Z125 at 815mm.
More information of the bikes will be released at Germany’s Intermot Show in Cologne on October 2nd 2018.
