iMotorbike Partners With Boon Siew Honda to Strengthen Motorcycle Trade-In Journey 

Leading pre-owned motorcycle platform iMotorbike scales its trade-in footprint via Honda’s dealer network, offering motorcyclists a hassle-free route to their next upgrade.

iMotorbike has partnered with Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. (BSH) to strengthen the connection between Malaysia’s new and pre-owned motorcycle markets, giving riders a more organised option to trade in their existing motorcycles when upgrading to a new Honda. 

The agreement was signed today at Boon Siew Honda’s Sales Headquarters in Kota Damansara, formalising a collaboration designed to provide riders with an additional option when trading in their existing motorcycles while purchasing a new Honda.

Under the collaboration, riders looking to upgrade to a new Honda motorcycle can trade in their existing bikes through the participating Honda dealer network, with iMotorbike bringing its expertise in motorcycle valuation, inspection and the pre-owned motorcycle market.

The partnership combines Boon Siew Honda’s established dealer network with iMotorbike’s experience in the used motorcycle sector, connecting different stages of the motorcycle ownership journey.

“Ownership of motorcycles does not begin and end with the purchase. Riders move through different stages of their lives, and their motorcycle preference may change over time,” said Kunitomo Asano, Managing Director and CEO of Boon Siew Honda.

“By collaborating with iMotorbike, we are offering a more organised transition for riders, and we are bringing our dealers with us,” he added. 

Meanwhile, iMotorbike Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Gil Carmo said the collaboration aims to make motorcycle trade-ins a more natural part of the ownership experience.

“By pairing iMotorbike’s expertise in valuation, inspection and pre-owned resale with BSH’s dealer network, we are giving riders a transparent, hassle-free way to move to their next Honda, and unlocking more value from the motorcycles already on Malaysia’s roads,” said Gil.

The agreement also strengthens the link between Malaysia’s new and used motorcycle markets by bringing together Honda’s dealer network and iMotorbike’s pre-owned motorcycle expertise.

Through the collaboration, riders can explore trade-in opportunities when upgrading to a new Honda motorcycle at participating Honda dealers.
