Boon Siew Honda has introduced the Honda ADV160 Trico Edition with Honda RoadSync in Malaysia, bringing Honda’s signature red, white and blue racing-inspired colours to its adventure-style scooter.

Priced at RM14,149, excluding road tax, insurance and registration, the new edition joins the existing Honda ADV160 with Honda RoadSync colour options in Matte Grey and Brown, which were introduced earlier this year.

The Trico livery draws inspiration from Honda’s racing heritage, giving the ADV160 a sportier appearance while retaining its practical features for everyday riding and longer journeys.

To mark the introduction, every purchase of the Honda ADV160 Trico Edition comes with a pair of JBL earbuds and a Motowolf balaclava, while stocks last.

According to Kunitomo Asano, Managing Director and CEO of Boon Siew Honda, the new colour scheme reflects the brand’s racing history and its focus on delivering motorcycles that riders can take pride in owning.

“The Trico colour represents Honda’s racing heritage and our commitment to building motorcycles that riders are proud to own. Bringing this livery to the Honda ADV160 reflects our dedication to offering Malaysian riders not only advanced technology, but also the spirit of Honda,” said Asano.

Beyond the new colour scheme, the Trico Edition retains the full specifications of the Honda ADV160 with Honda RoadSync. Power comes from a 157cc, Enhanced Smart Power+ (eSP+) engine, designed to deliver a balance of performance and efficiency for daily commuting.

The scooter is equipped with a 5-inch TFT meter with smartphone connectivity, allowing riders to connect their compatible smartphones through Honda RoadSync. Other features include Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and a Smart Key System for added convenience.

For practicality, the ADV160 offers a 30-litre under-seat storage compartment, providing space for everyday essentials. The scooter has a seat height of 780mm, ground clearance of 165mm and a wheelbase of 1,324mm. It weighs 133kg, with an 8.1-litre fuel tank.
