Cardo Unveils Venture, the World’s First Integrated Mesh Helmet

Cardo Systems has officially introduced the Cardo Venture, describing it as the world’s first fully integrated Mesh communication helmet for motocross and off-road riding. The new helmet is designed to solve one of the biggest challenges in off-road riding, clear communication between riders, by integrating Cardo’s communication technology directly into the helmet.

Now available for purchase in the United States and Canada, the Cardo Venture combines advanced rider protection with built-in connectivity, allowing motocross, ATV, and Side-by-Side riders to communicate seamlessly while tackling demanding terrain.

A New Era of Off-Road Communication

Unlike traditional helmet communicators that require separate installation, the Cardo Venture features a fully integrated communication system built directly into the helmet. This allows riders to stay connected without additional accessories, making communication more reliable during off-road adventures.

The integrated system enables groups to coordinate routes, warn each other of obstacles, and maintain constant communication without stopping or relying on hand signals. This not only improves convenience but also enhances rider safety, especially when navigating technical trails or racing environments.

According to Cardo Systems CEO Alon Lumbroso, the Venture represents more than just a new product.

“Bringing integrated communication to the off-road helmet segment isn’t just a product milestone for Cardo, it’s a true category shift.”

He added that Cardo aims to redefine smart helmet technology by delivering fully integrated solutions that improve rider performance, safety, and the overall riding experience.

Built on the Leatt Moto 8.5 Platform

The Cardo Venture is based on the Leatt Moto 8.5 helmet, incorporating several advanced safety technologies designed for high-performance off-road riding.

Among its key safety features is 360° Turbine Technology, which helps reduce both impact forces and rotational acceleration during a crash. The helmet also features a 3-in-1 safety system and four-density impact foam to provide additional protection in different impact scenarios.

To ensure it meets international safety requirements, the Cardo Venture is certified to both ECE 22.06 and DOT standards. In the United Kingdom, it has also earned the prestigious ACU Gold sticker, making it eligible for competitive racing.

Integrated DMC Communication and JBL Audio

Communication is powered by Cardo’s proven Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) technology, allowing stable group conversations even when riders spread across different sections of a trail.

Audio is delivered through SOUND BY JBL® speakers, providing clear voice communication while also supporting music and other audio during rides.

The integrated communication system also benefits riding schools and coaches by enabling real-time instruction without riders having to stop or rely on shouting across the track. This creates a smoother learning experience and allows riders to receive immediate feedback while continuing to ride.

Lightweight Construction for All-Day Comfort

Besides communication and safety, Cardo has also focused on rider comfort.

The Venture uses a lightweight composite shell designed to reduce fatigue during long rides without compromising strength. Inside, an Ionic+ antimicrobial liner helps wick away moisture while controlling odours, making it more comfortable during extended riding sessions.

The helmet also includes Pro-Fit modular padding, allowing riders to fine-tune the interior fit for different head shapes and preferences.

Designed for Serious Off-Road Riding

Cardo has equipped the Venture with several practical features aimed specifically at off-road riders.

Optimised ventilation channels improve airflow during demanding rides, while emergency cheek pad removal allows first responders to remove the helmet more safely if required.

The helmet is also compatible with neck braces and includes an integrated hydration side port, allowing riders to drink water without removing their helmet during longer rides.

Cardo backs the Venture with comprehensive warranty coverage that includes:

• Helmet: 5-year warranty
• Integrated communication technology: 3-year warranty
• Battery (EU): 2-year warranty
• Battery (Rest of World): 1-year warranty

The Cardo Venture is available now through Cardo’s official website in the United States, Canada, and selected global markets, with wider dealer availability expected from September onward.
