National Moto3 racer, Hakim Danish Ramli, is determined to bounce back and use his experience at Silverstone as a lesson for the Aragon GP later this month.

Hakim Danish Ramli refuses to let his failure to finish the British Moto3 Grand Prix (GP) at Silverstone Circuit discourage him. Instead, the young Malaysian rider wants to use the experience as a valuable lesson to be more competitive at the next round at the Aragon GP.

The AEON Credit-MT Helmets-MSi rider started the race from ninth place and looked set to compete in the front group. However, his hopes of collecting points were dashed after he was involved in an accident involving several other riders on lap five.

The incident caused his machine to suffer damage and he was unable to continue the race, thus ending his challenge at Silverstone earlier than planned.

According to Hakim, the race at Silverstone still provided him with valuable experience despite ending in disappointment. He is confident that everything he learned throughout the race weekend will help him perform better at the Aragon GP.

“The race was quite good at the beginning and I was confident of competing near the front group, but on the fifth lap I was involved in an accident and the machine was unable to continue the race. I learned a lot this week and for the next race in Aragon, I will take full advantage of it there,” he said via social media.

Failure to finish the race at Silverstone has also affected Hakim’s position in the overall Moto3 standings. The 18-year-old rider has now dropped one place to eighth place with 86 points.

Seventh place now belongs to Argentine rider Valentin Perrone from the KTM Tech3 team who managed to collect 95 points after finishing the race in third place at Silverstone.

The Moto3 British GP race was won by David Almansa from the Intact GP team, while Alvaro Carpe from KTM Ajo finished in second place.

After the action at Silverstone, Hakim has almost three weeks to prepare before the Moto3 competition resumes at the MotorLand Aragon Circuit, Spain, which is scheduled to take place from August 28 to 30.

Despite missing out on points in Britain, Hakim is still among the top contenders for the championship this season. With a few rounds remaining, the Malaysian rider is expected to try to bounce back and collect important points in Aragon to improve his position in the overall standings.
