2026 Honda ADV160 Spider-Man Edition Launched in Malaysia, Limited to 300 units

Boon Siew Honda has officially introduced the 2026 Honda ADV160 Spider-Man Edition for the Malaysian market, bringing a limited-run version of its popular adventure scooter inspired by one of Marvel’s most iconic superheroes.

Priced at RM14,149, the Spider-Man Edition commands a RM900 premium over the standard Honda ADV160, which continues to retail at RM13,249. Production is strictly limited to 300 units for Malaysia, with Boon Siew Honda confirming that the special edition will not be reissued once sold out.

The ADV160 Spider-Man Edition will be available at Honda Impian X and selected authorised dealers nationwide from 3 August 2026, and is backed by a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

Designed for collectors and Marvel fans alike, the limited edition features an exclusive Spider-Man-inspired livery, complete with the superhero’s signature logo and graphics that reinterpret the character’s iconic red-and-blue styling for the road.

In addition to the unique paint scheme, buyers will receive an exclusive ownership package comprising a premium gift box, LED thermos flask, special edition fuel tank cap, edition-specific emblem and an individually numbered owner’s certificate.

Commenting on the launch, Kunitomo Asano, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Boon Siew Honda, said Spider-Man continues to resonate with many Malaysians through his values of courage, resilience and adventure.

“Many people in Malaysia grew up with Spider-Man, and this story of courage, resilience and the spirit of adventure continues to resonate with many fans today,” he said.

Asano added that the Spider-Man Edition was created to pay tribute to the beloved superhero while combining the ADV160’s practicality, connectivity and adventure-inspired styling with a design that allows owners to express both their personality and their passion for the character.

Mechanically, the special edition remains identical to the standard ADV160. Power comes from Honda’s 156.9cc eSP+ liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with PGM-Fi fuel injection, producing 15.82 hp at 8,500 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Power is delivered to the rear wheel through a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The ADV160 continues to feature a telescopic front fork and preload-adjustable twin rear shock absorbers, while braking is handled by hydraulic disc brakes at both ends. Rider assistance systems include Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and single-channel ABS.

Technology remains one of the scooter’s key highlights, with a 5-inch TFT-LCD display supporting Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity. Other practical features include an adjustable windscreen, 30-litre under-seat storage, smart key system, USB charging port and Idling Stop System.
