Milestone Games and MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group have officially confirmed the release date for the upcoming racing game MotoGP 26, which is set to launch globally on April 29, 2026.

The new instalment of the official MotoGP gaming franchise will be available across multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, ROG Xbox Ally, ROG Xbox Ally X, as well as PC via Steam, Microsoft Store and the Epic Games Store.

MotoGP 26 will feature all the official riders, teams and circuits from the 2026 MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 championships, bringing fans closer to the real-world racing season.

MotoGP 26 Game

One of the major additions in MotoGP 26 is the Dynamic Rider Ratings system, where every rider will have a rating card based on four key attributes: lap time, pace, head-to-head performance and reliability. These ratings will update dynamically based on real-life race results and performances, meaning a rider’s current form in the real championship will directly influence their in-game competitiveness.  This system is designed to create a more realistic racing environment, particularly within Career Mode and championship gameplay.

MotoGP 26 also introduces improvements to the game’s physics model through a new rider-based handling system. Players will now control the motorcycle by managing the rider’s weight distribution and body movement, replicating the way professional racers handle their bikes during high-speed riding. Aims to deliver a more authentic riding sensation with faster responses and greater immersion during intense racing situations.

The popular Race Off mode returns in MotoGP 26 with expanded content, including a brand-new location and the introduction of Production Bikes, a new 1000cc category that joins existing disciplines such as Motard, Flat Track and Minibikes.

MotoGP 26 Game

Race Off allows players to participate in more relaxed training-style races, similar to how real MotoGP riders practise and refine their skills away from Grand Prix weekends.

Career Mode has also been redesigned to revolve around a fully 3D MotoGP paddock environment, acting as the central hub for race weekends. Two new features will play a key role in the player’s progression. The first is Thursday press conferences, where players can set goals, challenge rivals publicly or push their team for faster development.

The second is the addition of a personal manager, who will handle contract negotiations, meetings with teams and manufacturers, and guide players through key decisions in the rider transfer market.

MotoGP 26 Game

MotoGP 26 will offer two main gameplay experiences: Arcade and Pro. The Arcade mode is designed for newcomers or players seeking a simpler riding experience, while the Pro mode focuses on maximum realism with advanced bike setup options.

The game will also feature cross-play multiplayer with up to 22 riders on the grid, along with split-screen support for local gameplay. Players will once again be able to customize their appearance through advanced graphic editors and share their helmet, number and racing gear designs with the community.

A new trailer for the game has also been released alongside the announcement, giving fans their first look at what to expect when MotoGP 26 arrives in just a few weeks.
