Honda has announced a new brand promise and four core values for its electric motorcycle business. This move marks the next chapter in Honda’s journey toward a carbon-neutral and electrified future.

The brand promise, “Expected life. Unexpected discoveries.”, reflecting Honda’s goal to offer comfort, excitement, and new experiences in everyday life. It also combines over 75 years of motorcycle expertise with the unique benefits of electric mobility.

Creating New Value Through Four Core Principles

Honda’s new direction for electric motorcycles is guided by four core values. Each one reflects how Honda plans to redefine the future of riding.

1. Liberate with the Freedom of Movement

Honda aims to give riders more freedom through smart electric design and advanced control technologies. New design possibilities will reduce stress and barriers, allowing for a smoother and more enjoyable ride.

2. Inspire Instincts and Sensibility

Building on its long history of motorcycle engineering, Honda will focus on performance and rider connection. Electric power offers instant acceleration and quiet operation, paired with an intuitive human-machine interface (HMI). Together, these features will be able to enhance excitement and precision in every ride.

3. Coexist with People and Society

Honda’s electric motorcycles will blend seamlessly into daily life. Their minimalist design and quiet operation make them ideal for modern cities. In addition, connectivity technology will enable efficient routes, reduce congestion, and lower environmental impact. Honda envisions a society where riders, people, and the environment coexist in harmony.

4. Resonate with Intelligence

Each electric motorcycle will continue to evolve through real-time adaptive systems. The user interface (UI) will respond to environmental changes and personalize the experience over time. By using data insights, Honda aims to deliver mobility that grows smarter with every ride.

New Visual Identity and the Launch of the Honda WN7

Honda also revealed a new Visual Identity (VI) for its electric motorcycle business. Future models will feature the iconic “Honda” wordmark to reflect a unified design language.

As part of this announcement, Honda unveiled its first electric motorcycle, the Honda WN7, at EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. The WN7 represents Honda’s new electric philosophy with a blend of innovation, performance, and emotional connection.

Moving Toward Carbon Neutrality

Honda aims to achieve carbon neutrality across all motorcycle products by the 2040s. Electrification remains the key to this vision. However, the company will also continue to refine internal combustion engine (ICE) technologies.

With its new electric direction, Honda promises to deliver freedom, emotion, intelligence, and coexistence in every model. The company’s brand message, “Expected life. Unexpected discoveries.”, will guide a new era of sustainable, inspiring mobility for riders worldwide.
