It’s an exciting week for Malaysian rider Hakim Danish!. The Malaysian will take to the track at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit as a Wildcard entry in the Moto3 World Championship during the much-anticipated Malaysian Grand Prix (MalaysianGP).

The 5.543-kilometre Sepang circuit, with its 15 corners,10 right-handers and five left-handers, offers a familiar challenge for Hakim. The Malaysian is ready to race on home soil in front of passionate local fans.

AEON Credit SIC Racing MSi team launched

On 15 October 2025, AEON Credit SIC Racing MSi officially unveiled Hakim’s team. AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd will be sponsoring this week’s Wildcard programme. The same crew from his FIM JuniorGP World Championship team and staff from ZK Racing will support him throughout the event.

Ahead of the race, Hakim completed two days of official testing on 8 and 9 October 2025. He rode the new Moto3 machine prepared for his debut.

A new challenge on a bigger stage

This Moto3 bike represents a major step up from the machines Hakim has ridden in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and FIM JuniorGP World Championship. Adapting to the new level of performance will require focus and precision throughout the race week.

“Of course, I’m really happy and excited as we head into MalaysianGP race week. This has always been my dream, to race in the World Championship, and I’ll do my very best throughout the weekend,” said Hakim Danish.

“I’ve completed nearly 100 laps in testing to find a good setup and build confidence with the bike. It’s faster and more flexible than what I’ve ridden before, especially through corners, so I’m really looking forward to FP1.

To all Malaysians, don’t forget to come and support me! Get your tickets, watch me in action, and meet me at the AEON Credit booth or during the Meet & Greet at the pit lane.”

Meet Hakim Danish at the MalaysianGP

Fans can catch Hakim Danish in person at the AEON Credit Booth (B04–B07) in the Mall Area for a Meet & Greet session. Fans can take photos with the young Malaysian rider and receive signed posters from him.

Team confident ahead of home race

“We’ve arrived at MalaysianGP race week, the moment we’ve all been waiting for!” said a team representative from ZK Racing. “All preparations have been carefully organised, and we have full confidence in Hakim Danish’s ability to deliver his best performance at his home GP.

This collaboration between ZK Racing, Sepang International Circuit (SIC) and AEON Credit brings new energy and confidence to the team. With the unpredictable weather lately, we’re hoping for good conditions so Hakim can race safely, stay calm, and finish strong.

To all Malaysian motorsport fans, come join us at Sepang and show your support for Hakim Danish!”

All eyes are on Sepang as Hakim Danish faces his biggest challenge yet, racing against the world’s best on home soil.
