Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia clinched the 2025 FIM Enduro1 World Championship with one round to spare after a gritty performance at the EnduroGP of Italy. Battling relentless rain, rugged terrain, and injuries from a heavy crash, the Spaniard delivered the points needed to seal the crown aboard his KTM 250 EXC-F.

Dominance on Day One

Garcia set the tone early with a second-place finish in Friday’s Super Test before putting on a masterclass on Saturday. Clocking the fastest time in 11 of 12 tests, he stormed to victory in the E1 category by more than one minute and 50 seconds, while also topping the overall EnduroGP standings. The dominant ride all but guaranteed him the championship.

Fighting Through Pain

Despite needing only a single point on Sunday to secure the title, Garcia refused to settle. Still nursing injuries from his Saturday crash, he fought through intense pain to finish fourth in class and 15th overall, earning enough points to clinch the Enduro1 title in dramatic fashion.

“Yesterday was incredible, but I crashed in the final test and needed stitches in my elbow,” Garcia explained. “Today was one of the hardest days of racing in my life. I’m happy to take the Enduro1 title, even though I would have liked a stronger result.”

Eyes on the EnduroGP Crown

With the Enduro1 championship secured, Garcia now shifts focus to defending his EnduroGP overall title at the season finale in Zschopau, Germany (October 17–19). He carries a 15-point lead over Andrea Verona and will aim to complete a perfect season with back-to-back world crowns.

Garcia’s Italian triumph underscores a year of dominance and resilience, proving once again why he remains one of the premier forces in international enduro racing.
