Didi Group, the official distributor of Vespa in Malaysia, has officially unveiled the 2025 Vespa Primavera and Sprint models at this year’s Art of Speed Malaysia, held at MAEPS Serdang. The new range includes the Primavera, Primavera S, Sprint, and Sprint S, with prices starting from RM19,500.

The 2025 Vespa Primavera is priced at RM19,500, while the sportier Primavera S goes for RM20,900. As for the Sprint, it’s tagged at RM20,500, and the range-topping Sprint S comes in at RM21,000.

This launch marks a fresh direction for Vespa in Malaysia, blending Italian charm and craftsmanship with modern design and vibrant colour palettes aimed at the next generation of urban riders.

Key Differences & Design

While the engine remains unchanged, the main visual differences lie in the wheels and battery covers. Both Primavera models are equipped with stylish five-spoke wheels, while the Sprint variants stand out with spiral six-spoke wheels that add a sportier flair.

The colour options also highlight Vespa’s attention to detail and personality.

  • Primavera is available in: White Innocente, Black Convinto, Yellow Curioso, and Red Coraggioso.
  • Primavera S comes in: Green Amabile, Blue Capri, White Innocente, and Grey Entusiasta.
  • Sprint offers: Yellow Curioso, White Innocente, Black Convinto, and Green Magnetico.
  • Sprint S stands out with: Gray Intrepido, Blue Eclettico, Green Tenace, White Innocente, and Black Convinto.

Performance & Features

All 2025 Vespa models continue to be powered by the 154cc air-cooled single-cylinder i-GET engine, producing 12.5 hp at 7,750 rpm and 12.3 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. Braking duties are handled by a front hydraulic disc brake with single-channel ABS, paired with a rear drum brake.

The scooters ride on 12-inch wheels, wrapped in 110/70 front and 120/70 rear tyres, ensuring a smooth and agile city ride. For added convenience, all variants are equipped with LED lighting and a USB charging port, ideal for daily commutes.

Vespa fans can expect the 2025 Primavera and Sprint lineup to arrive in authorized Vespa dealerships nationwide by August 2025. With bold colours, Italian flair, and proven reliability, this latest lineup continues Vespa’s legacy of timeless style and urban mobility.
