The excitement continues in the FIM JuniorGP Championship as the sixth round heads to the Aragón circuit in Spain, this weekend. Known for its challenging 17 turns over a length of 5.077 km, the track also features a 0.968 km straight, pushing riders to the limit.
Earlier this month, Malaysia’s promising talents Danial Syahmi (Junior Talent Team) and Hakim Danish (SIC Racing – MSi) completed private tests at Aragón to fine-tune their performance ahead of the race.
While Danish wrapped up his sessions without any issues, Syahmi faced a setback when he suffered a hand injury during one of the practice sessions. Despite this, both riders are in high spirits and determined to fight for their first podium finish of the season.
Syahmi was optimistic despite his injury. Speaking about his preparations, Syahmi shared, “After the race in Jerez, my focus remained on starts, track practice, and fitness training at the gym. Last week’s test gave me a confidence boost, but an accident in the third session forced me to stop early. Now, I’m fully focused on recovering so I can give my best this weekend.”
Danish, on the other hand, had a productive test at Aragón. “We managed to find the right setup early on, testing different configurations that suited me,” Danish said. “My goal for this weekend is to start from the front row and chase my first podium in JuniorGP. I hope Malaysians will support me in this important race.”
The FIM JuniorGP Championship is heating up, and fans in Malaysia can catch all the action live on YouTube and Facebook. Both riders are determined to make their mark and bring home a podium finish for their country. Stay tuned and support our Malaysian riders as they take on Aragón!
