Fans gear up for the electrifying After Race Fest on November 3, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Sepang International Circuit with international and local stars.

The first announcement of the After Race Fest has sparked excitement among fans as the highly anticipated festival coincides with the 25th-anniversary celebration of the Petronas Sepang International Circuit (SIC) during the MotoGP Malaysia 2024.

Set to take place at the iconic Helipad at the Sepang International Circuit on November 3rd, the festival will run from 4 PM until midnight. The initial announcement in July revealed that international acts Smash Mouth and Macklemore would be headlining the event, alongside top regional performers, including Nidji and Feel Koplo from Indonesia, and local favourites 6ixth Sense and De Fam.

Organised by HIFIVE Entertainment, in collaboration with strategic partner Petronas Sepang International Circuit, the lineup promises a high-energy close to the MotoGP season. The event will feature both international and local artists to cap off the adrenaline-filled weekend with top-tier entertainment.

Malaysia’s Queen of Rock, Ella

The excitement continued with the Phase 2 announcement, confirming that Malaysia’s Queen of Rock, Ella, will grace the stage at the “After Race Fest”. In a special honour, Ella will also perform Negaraku at the MotoGP event, marking a proud moment for the iconic singer, who remains as popular as ever with her sold-out concert tours.

“It’s such an honour to be entrusted with singing Negaraku at the MotoGP event,” Ella shared. “Afterward, I’ll be sharing the stage with Smash Mouth, Macklemore, and other amazing Malaysian and Indonesian artists. Don’t forget to catch me at ‘After Race Fest’!”

The event will feature performances across various segments, beginning with Feel Koplo and De Fam in the Get Started segment at 4 PM. The Healing segment will showcase Nidji and 6ixth Sense, followed by an electrifying performance by Rock Queen Ella. Smash Mouth will then take the stage in the Let’s Rock segment, with Macklemore headlining the Solidarity segment.

Macklemore’s performance is highly anticipated, especially following the release of his latest single, “HIND’S HALL 2,” a collaboration with Palestinian rapper MC Abdul, American-Palestinian lyricist Amer Zahr, and American singer Anees Mokhiber.

The “After Race Fest” promises more than just music. Attendees can also expect thrilling drone shows and a fireworks display to celebrate the success of MotoGP Malaysia 2024.

Sean Pereira, Managing Director of HIFIVE Entertainment, said, “It wouldn’t be complete without a celebration for the fans at the end of MotoGP. ‘After Race Fest’ is not just about entertainment but about celebrating visitors from around the world with a range of activities. This festival will offer an unforgettable experience.”

The festival will take place on November 3rd at the Helipad of Petronas Sepang International Circuit. Don’t miss this ultimate post-race experience!
