Yamaha Racing Indonesia’s rider, M. Faerozi, continued to demonstrate his consistency on the first day of the fifth round of the 2024 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) in Sepang, Malaysia.

In the second free practice session (FP2), Faerozi clocked an impressive time of 2 minutes 25.351 seconds, securing second place and showing a significant improvement over his performance in the earlier FP1 session.

During FP1, Faerozi posted a time of 2 minutes 33.152 seconds, which placed him third on the leaderboard. The cooler morning track conditions played a role in the slightly slower times, but as the weather warmed up for FP2, all riders, including Faerozi, saw improved lap times.

Faerozi’s continued progress signals his growing competitiveness as he remains a strong contender at the top. His consistent performance in the practice sessions shows that he is well-prepared to tackle the upcoming challenges in the series.

This latest achievement strengthens Yamaha Racing Indonesia’s chances in the AP250 class. Faerozi’s second-place finish in FP2 confirms his status as a major threat to his rivals in this fifth round of the championship.

Currently, Faerozi holds second place in the overall AP250 championship standings, just 16 points behind fellow Indonesian rider Kiandra Ramadhipa of Astra Honda Racing Team. Meanwhile, local rider Syariffudin Azman of the Boon Siew Honda Racing Team sits in fifth place, trailing the leader by 35 points.

Stay tuned for more updates on the fifth round of the ARRC Sepang!
